Description
Mizuth, the rebellious and headstrong son of Aggrieva, prince of the Kahalan royalty.
Anger. Pure, unadulterated anger. It surged through my body in steady pulses, my legs keeping beat as I weaved my way between the trees, going too fast to stop if I were to hit one. She was alive. My sister. Alive and prisoner to some fancy dancy unicorn thing. Who knew such a freaky mutation existed? I certainly did not, nor did I want his clutches near my sister.
I knew I had gone too far when water sprayed around me and my feet no longer came into contact with the ground. I ended up tripping over myself, my back end flipping over my front. An angry shriek came from within me as I nearly killed myself hitting the opposite bank. Lucky for me, I was in the deeper area of the Lone River, and one of the widest areas as well.
Stone finally made contact with hoof, and still in a fury, I reared, screaming at the heavens for this misfortune. I struggled my way up the bank, slipping and sliding on loose rocks. I had thought myself the last one of my royal family. Heir I was appointed at birth, and good fortune I remained to spread my genes, but without my family, I was nothing. Just another Andalusian stallion looking to make a name for himself.
Finally on the sloping banks of the river, I resumed unleashing my anger, this time in a series of bucking and squealing. Yeah, I was a wild thing, that was for sure, but the ladies, they never complained, heh.
Finally, finally, finally, I felt calm enough to consider my options. If I were going to rescue her, I would need some help. There was no talking to another stallion; pride was for wussys. Besides, I was still too young to challenge another and win, without some good luck. Another year, perhaps, and I would be filled in enough, but not yet.
